Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend to students and part-time jobs. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy with her performance compared to that of her peers. She started to think about other options. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. The band was where she met Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. This was released in 1992. The album garnered a lot of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano that Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. is the companion album of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now I'll Let You go... It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish political activist and singer. In the late 70s, she gained a little fame when the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career by releasing the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio features cover versions of No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six studio and compilation albums. |
